Connect the USB drive to your Mac and open Recovery Mode. If your Mac’s hard drive is damaged and you need to restore your files, you can do so by using the recovery mode backup. This includes your Mac’s operating system, applications, and other files. The Recovery HD folder contains all of the files that were backed up in recovery mode. The backup files will be saved in a folder called “Recovery HD.” You can access this folder by going to the Finder and selecting “Go > Home.” Connect the drive to your Mac and open Recovery Mode. To back up your files in recovery mode, you’ll need a USB drive or another storage device. However, you can also use recovery mode to back up your files. This mode allows you to access your Mac’s hard drive and repair it. When your Mac is having problems and you can’t seem to fix it, you may need to enter recovery mode.
